A great evening at The Old House at Home in Havant and really nice to be back there again catching up with people not seen in a while.
The night started off fairly quiet, but it did not stay that way for long. Before we knew it, the pub had filled up with plenty of familiar faces and there was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the evening and lots of dancing.
Mike kept everyone entertained with a great mix of popular country music, playing plenty of songs people knew and could sing along to. It was great to see The Old House busy again on a Saturday night with live music bringing people together.
There was also a little bit of nostalgia in the room. I still miss familiar faces like Brian, who was always the soul of the party, and John, better known to many as Mr Cat Cap, who absolutely loved his live music. Nights like this certainly bring back plenty of memories.
A really enjoyable evening all round and we are already looking forward to seeing Mike back at The Old House at Home again soon.
