STACY GABEL BAND. ONE NIGHT, ONE REHEARSAL, ONE INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE
For Stacy Gabel fourth year in Portsmouth, she decided to do something a little different.
Across her previous visits from Pennsylvania, USA, Stacy has met some brilliant local musicians. This time she brought those talents together and created the Stacy Gabel Band especially for today’s THE FLASH ON AIR charity gig.
The most impressive part? This six piece band only managed one practice session together a few nights before the show.
You honestly would never have known.
With Stacy leading from the front, the band sounded tight, confident and full of energy. Six talented musicians coming together for what was essentially a one off performance and making it feel like they had been playing together for far longer.
It was a brilliant example of what live music is all about. Musicians meeting through gigs, friendships forming and then coming together on stage to create something special.
Stacy may have travelled all the way from Pennsylvania, but after four visits to Portsmouth she has clearly built some strong musical connections here.
A fantastic performance from the Stacy Gabel Band and definitely one of those sets that felt a little bit special to witness.
